This project proposes a future hybrid construction typology. It involves the “Re”purposing of an existing landfill site to transform it into a live manufacturing facility that produces a novel building material called “RE”composite. The aim is to “RE”claim construction inert debris, offering an alternative solution to the depletion of finite resources and the substantial amount of construction waste generated in our current era. The ultimate goal is to “RE”design our cities for the future.
